Porsche 959 (1986–1993)
The 959 technology platform was built on the basis of the 911 model line in an exclusive series of 292 cars. With a 2.8 L biturbo flat engine with power output 450 PS (331 kW; 444 hp) featuring water-cooled 4-valve cylinder heads, an electronically controlled chassis and all-wheel drive system.
The twin-turbocharged 959 was the world’s fastest street-legal production car when introduced, achieving a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph), with some variants even capable of achieving 339 km/h (211 mph).
